UERU + PebblePad Town Hall: Future Ready Learners, and High-Impact Practices

This UERU Town hall is part presentation, part conversation, and part audience-participation, building a conceptual layer-cake around the learner at the center of their journey towards being future-ready. Co-facilitators Matthew Trevett-Smith (University of Delaware) and Shane Sutherland (PebblePad) explore the relationship between high-impact practices (HIPs) and future-ready competencies, while examining the conditions and characteristics that make any learning highly impactful, memorable, and recountable. Both the Centers for Teaching and Learning Leaders Community (CTLLC), Undergraduate Research-High Impact Practices (UR-HIP) community, and others are invited to contribute to this cross-community conversation. Participants will learn about PebblePad, one ingredient in the student-centered layer cake, with examples of practice from Ohio State University as icing on top.
