UERU Town Hall: Course Level Assessment of Student Learning: What Research Tells Us About the Do’s and Don'ts

As a follow up to the UERU town hall on grading, UERU presented a panel discussion on assessing student learning at the course level. This discussion will be framed in the larger issue of student learning and feedback approaches. However, it will focus on the challenging question of summative assessment of student learning at the course level and the various challenges this presents, from impact of high-stake assessments to the more recent challenges posed by generative AI.
